Board of Directors
Chairperson
He is a cofounder of NDI and has been elected as the Chairperson of the NDI board of directors since its establishment. He has also worked as Director during initial stage of its establishment. As full time profession, he now works as National Programme Officer for the Embassy of Finland in Yangon. He earned MA in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, Tufts University in 2015 with Fulbright Scholarship and BA (First Class Honor) in Social Policy and Administration from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2009 and was recipient of University Grants Committee – UGC (Hong Kong government scholarship) and Child’s Dream scholarships.
Board Member
He is a co-founder and one of the Board Members of NDI. He has worked as Director from 2009 – 2010 and Co-director from 2016 – 2017. He earned Master of Divinity from Torch Trinity Graduate University, South Korea in 2015and B.A in Philosophy and Political Economy from Rangsit University, Thailand in 2011. Currently he studies M.A in Homiletics at Princeton Theological Seminary.
Board Member
He is a co-founder and one of the Board Members of NDI. He has also worked as Director at NDI from 2012 – 2015. He earned M.A. Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Manchester in United Kingdom in 2016 and B.A in Social Sciences in Southeast Asia Studies from City University of Hong Kong in 2012. Currently he is working at Sone Sie Programme - British as Council Regional Coordinator (Northern Myanmar).
Board Member and Treasurer
He is a co-founder and one of the Board Members of NDI and as well as the treasurer since its establishment. He earned his B.A, in Computer Information Systems at Payap University in Chiang Mai in Thailand. Currently, he is working at Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) as Human Rights Documentation and Communication Officer as well as Web Administrator, Help Desk, IT Technician.
Board Member
She is one of the Board members of NDI. She is the Acting General Manager of Yetagon Irrigation business unit. She joined Proximity Designs in early 2016. Prior to joining Proximity Designs, She worked with the American Jewish World Service overseeing their human rights grant-making in Myanmar. During that time, She has been involved in a variety of human rights and development projects through research and advocacy campaign strategies, in addition to managing community education projects in Kachin State. She studied international relations at Webster University and received her Master’s degree in International Development Studies from Chulalongkorn University.
Board Member
He has been working as a humanitarian worker in conflict northern Myanmar. He graduated his master degree (Master of Rural Development Management, MRDM) in Khon Kean University, Thailand in 2010. He had been actively involving in forming Naushawng Development Institute since beginning in 2009.
