The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us the importance of digitalization. This crisis is also an opportunity for us to reflect and make changes to our education system, learning styles, and instructional approaches. Kachin State higher education institutions have been providing online classes during this crisis, but some students remain unable to join the classes. Therefore, education providers from each institution need to consider how to best ensure inclusivity and access. Teachers and students need the necessary ICT skills to be able to continue effective online class teaching and learning. Students also need to develop 21st century skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving skills, communication and collaboration skills, and creativity and innovation skills.
