History of Naushawng Community School (NCS)

Naushawng Community School (NCS), is one of the departments of Naushawng Development Institute( NDI ) which was established in 2009.

The school began with an eight-month certificateprogram in TOEFL Preparation and Civic Educationfrom 2010- 2013 and was upgraded to certificate in English Language and Social Studiesfrom 2014-2017. Based on seven-years of experiences and community’s needs, the school has upgraded its program into diplomas. Thus from 2018 onward, the school is offering two diploma programs and one certificate program: 

  • Diploma in English Language and Development Studies (DELDS)
  • Diploma in English Language and Political Science (DELPS)
  • Certificate in English Language & Social Studies

OBJECTIVE: 

  • Skilled in development project initiative and in non-profit management as well as skilled in conducting and analyzing research on needs of communities toward problem –solving approaches.
  • Ensure proficiency of English Communication Skills for life career or further studies.
  • Acquire and improve the required capacity and all the steps to plan, implement and manage a response program in complex and sensitive situations, and international and regional development cooperation.

  • Increase the proficiency of English Communication Skills for life career or further study.
